Picked up another Mosin Nagant.

This time it's a demilled Mosin Nagant M38 Carbine, probably one from Hes van Zweeden's stock by the look of things.

It should arrive in the mail in 2 days.

Time to invest in another sling and cleaning set ;)

Arrived at lunchtime - repro German gasmask canister from Epic !!

It's about 3mm shorter than a RS one and the 2 main strap loops are slightly out of position.

Overall finish isn't to bad especially for WW2 Airsofting.

I'll try and take some pics and post up later

I'm going to bet mine (en route from far east) is the same as yours Del - I can believe there is the market for the output of more than one manufacturer!
* looks at rangercamp's web site 8) *

HEHE I was thinking the same Dave, but hey trying to get another RS off ebay and the bid-nazi's was becoming a pain.

We just need good repro Waterbottles and large cups now

It never rains but it pours! After waiting weeks for my Thompson to turn up, it finally arrived today! Very happy with I am too.

Also arrived - 2 MP40 mags, 2 Thompson hicaps, Thompson mag bag, Eastern front medal ribbon, bag of bb's, and 2 batteries.

When I want your opinion - I'll tell you what it is!

Doesnt really matter they are all exaclty the same :)

as in a previous post, when you read em check off from the list

The following will always happen in a Sven hassel novel.

The team will be foreced to be the rearguard or vanguard of a sucicdal attack.

They will have a barborous/hated Co or NCO who will eventually be killed in some hideous way.

They will have a loved juniour platoon leader whoi will get killed. go mad . shoot himself.

They will befriend some bizzare animal pig/goat/cat/bear

They will get pissed and fightin a brothel and be chased out by the authorities

Despitebeinmg a penal battlalion they will be issued with the latest all singing all dancing german tank

They will encounter some soviets and for once rather than bayoneting them and grenading them they will get drunk with them, the soviets will be tragically killed returning home.

They will be expected to dress up as the enemy and go miles behiond the lines on a secret mission.

Heide and Tiny wil have fight where Heide is nealry killed....

you will either love em or hate them,

they make great toilet reading, you can pick one up open at random and be just as likley to get the plot, than if you read it cover to cover

also good reading when i was in my tank, you could read a chapter between engagements , great to kill the time
